About the Art
This artwork explores combining two loves, the love a black man has for his women and the love of music through the process of morphing a women into an instrument. This process is inspired by having been in bad relationships and wanting better treatment. The series I’ve create is called “Sacred Instruments” were I see men as the musicians and women as the instruments. A true musicians take care of their instruments. I feel men should treat women as instruments sacred and precious, treat us right keep us tuned when you go to play us you will get a beautiful sound instead of a horrible screech. The piece invites viewers to embody the
treatment they want and want to give. Everyone desires to be love the right way.
